    Facility Description:

    Oversight of two new hospital JV multi-specialty ASCs in the Annapolis, Maryland area.  Each facility has 2 ORs and 1 Procedure room with high volume orthopedics, spine and GYN including total joint replacements.

     

    Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    The ASC Group CEO is General Manager and therefore fully accountable for clinical quality, business and strategic planning, financial outcomes, personnel recruitment, development and oversight, operational effectiveness, facility management and regulatory compliance for more than one facility.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • As General Managers, SCA Group CEOs are ultimately responsible for the results of their center's business and operations, including, but not limited to the following.
    • Drive excellent clinical quality
    • Effectively drives and sustains a zero patient harm culture
    • Leads and/or partners with Medical Executive Committee, Governing Body, and Board of Managers in developing clinical guidelines and implementing the center’s response to the changing healthcare needs of the community
    • Lead and develop teams
    • Lives and instills in others the SCA Values of Clinical Quality, Integrity, Service Excellence, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement. 
    • Drive top-line growth & cultivate strong physician relationships
    • Lead operational excellence

     

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Previous experience in healthcare management in an ambulatory surgery center setting
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Healthcare financial acumen
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel and Power Point)
    • Previous experience with physician relationship development and recruitment

    Preferred:

    • Master’s degree preferred
    • Previous experience with hospital / hospital system partners
