    Perimeter Surgery Center of Atlanta is a 11,000 sqft multispecialty ambulatory surgical center specializing in Orthopedics, GI, General, Plastic, ENT, Pain Management, Spine, and Ocular Plastics

    Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    Pre-Admission Nurse (RN) - Are you tired of working holidays, weekends and being on call? We are seeking a Full-time Pre-Admission Nurse who is dependable, detail-oriented, skilled problem solvers, who exhibit a collaborative and friendly working style. The Pre-Admission Nurse is responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient care of the patient prior to admission, working directly with the physician offices and patients. Perimeter Surgery Center is pleased to offer competitive benefits and pay for experienced candidates.   

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ability to correlate clinical data with patient’s medical and nursing care.
    • Ability to set priorities.
    • Ability to provide direction to others that is clear, concise and promotes efficiency.
    • Ability to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, etc.
    • Assesses, plans, evaluates and ensures the implementation of the patient’s care to achieve identified outcomes and delivers safe patient care according to facility policy and procedure and under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
    • Assesses patient status on admission and on an ongoing basis.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
    • Current Georgia Nursing License
    • 1 year of pre-admission nurse experience required
    • Current BLS Certification.
    • Current ACLS Certification or completion within 90 days of employment
