The Texas Health Orthopedic Surgery Center Heritage is a single-specialty ambulatory surgery center located near Keller/Fort Worth Texas, which is a short commute from Dallas. Our center started providing patient care in September 2018. With four operating rooms we provide Orthopedics, Spine, and Pain surgical services.
The Pre-assessment (PAT) RN is responsible for providing safe and quality care for patients prior to having surgery at our facility. The PAT nurse works with the patient to gather health information preoperatively using the One Medical Passport Online system and drawing any ordered preoperative labwork and/or EKG studies. The PAT nurse also conducts Joint Camp, which is a 1:1 preop meeting for all our Total Joint patients. The PAT nurse, in collaboration with other members of the multi-disciplinary care team, competently performs job responsibilities in accordance with all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. The Preassessment Registered Nurse actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
