    Facility Description:

    The Lexington Surgery Center is a free-standing multi-specialty outpatient surgical facility with 6 ORs and 2 procedure rooms performing approximately 6000 cases per year and rising.  We have served the Lexington and surrounding area since 1981.     Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    Lexington Surgery Center is seeking a self-motivated RN for an opportunity in a fun, fast-paced environment as a Pre- Admissions Testing RN.  The candidate must have a collaborative and friendly working style and be adaptable to an ever-changing work environment.  Lexington Surgery Center offers and opportunity to collaborate with exceptional surgeons, anesthesia physicians, and other healthcare professionals in an environment that provides great work-life balance.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for delivery of exceptional customer service through daily telephone interactions with patients
    • Responsible for gathering health information via telephone, and collaborating with anesthesiologists to determine patient safety for surgery in an outpatient setting
    • Providing pre and post-operative education for patients via telephone
    • Collaborating with surgery scheduling to ensure efficiency in surgery schedule
    • Efficiently manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Maintains nursing practice in accordance with written policies and in compliance with various regulatory and accrediting agencies


    • Current KY nursing license required
    • A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a critical care setting such as ICU, OB, OR, PACU or equivalent is preferred
    • Previous telephonic nursing experience preferred
    • Excellent computer, oral, and written communication skills required
