Our center is open Monday - Friday only. No weekends, no holidays and no call! We specialize in: Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, ENT, Plastics, GI Endoscopy and more.

    Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated RN to work part time in the GI endoscopy department at our ambulatory surgery center. The RN's primary responsibilities include assisting the physician, circulation and coordination of GI endoscopy patients. Candidate must exemplify our organization’s values of Clinical Quality, Integrity, Service Excellence, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Achieves patient outcomes through implementation of critical pathways and in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of the facility.
    • Assesses, plans, implements and coordinates patient care. Communicates well with patients, families, teammates, physicians and other members of the healthcare team. Implements appropriate standards of care.
    • Utilizes specialized nursing knowledge and nursing process while giving direct or indirect care.


    • Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing. (Required)
    • Current CT state licensure to practice. (Required)
    • Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BCLS/ACLS certification. (Required)
    • At least 2 years of GI Endoscopy nursing experience required.
