    Facility Description:

    Multi-specialty ambulatory surgical center with focus on Neuro/Spine, ENT, Otology, Podiatry, and Pain Management.

    Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    The Physician Office Liaison/Surgical Scheduler is the key point of contact with our physician offices, maintaining a professional relationship to help ensure the success of the center.  

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Minimum of 2 years surgical procedure scheduling required
    • Knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 Codes, demonstrates knowledge of insurance verifications and authorizations including a strong knowledge of ASC-based allowable procedures
    • Ability to prioritize and work independently, in conjunction with utilization of critical- thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Have the ability to communicate effectively with patient, payors, physicians, and other teammates
    • Attention to detail with verification of information entered into data base system to include, but not limited to, correct spelling of name, DOB, phone number, etc.
    • Will handle multiple physician schedules daily while ensuring accuracy of information given and received

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years surgical scheduling
    • High school diploma, or equivalent, required
    • Associate’s Degree, or equivalent, preferred
