    Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    As a member of the Regulatory Compliance team, the Compliance Auditor will conduct compliance focused audits as well as compliance analytics to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements as well as support SCA’s compliance program.  The Compliance Auditor will work with all Support Services departments as well as interact directly with SCA’s facilities in achieving effectiveness of the compliance program. 


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Performing all phases of compliance related audits and support activity (e.g., hotline, excluded party screening)
    • Performing all phases of facility site reviews
    • Assist in the integration and acquisition process
    • Serving on project implementation teams
    • Working effectively with other departments/external sources
    • Working as part of a team who support each other to accomplish set goals and objectives together
    • Travel approximately 6-7 times a year or as needed


    • Understanding of healthcare compliance and compliance related principles
    • Understanding of audit procedures and internal controls
    • Excellent planning, analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential.

    Education and Work Experience:

    • Four year college degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or health care administration required.
    • 2+ years of experience related to health care operations, regulatory compliance, and/or healthcare compliance preferred, but not required.
    • Audit experience preferred



    • If not already achieved, obtain either of the below certifications within first two years of employment:
    • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation
    • Certification in healthcare compliance (CHC)
