    Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA), a fast-growing national leader in owning and operating surgery centers. SCA operates 205 surgical facilities, including surgery centers, surgical hospitals, and hospital surgery departments, in 35 states. We employ approximately 5,000 teammates and more than 7,500 physicians perform procedures in SCA facilities each year along with more than 2,000 of these physicians, and 105+ leading health systems.

     

    We’re looking for high energy individuals with ability to work directly with our physicians and physician partners as Manager of Operations supporting our DFW market. 

     

    Working with the Vice President of Operations the successful candidate will be interacting with regional leadership, physicians, health systems, and SCA teams to drive strategic growth initiatives, integration of new facilities, service line implementation, maintaining high clinical quality and driving continuous improvement.

     

    Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

    • Works collaboratively with administrators and physician partners
    • Capable of working independently within a market to onboard facilities
    • Values oriented
    • Well versed in healthcare compliance
    • Responsible for new facility leader onboarding (CEO & DON)
    • Support team onboarding for both acquisitions & de novos
    • Support accreditation readiness for both acquisitions & de novos
    • Partner with integration team, clinical, facilities and regional leads
    • Willingness to be an interim administrator in the Dallas market if needed
    • Performs all other duties as assigned by Vice President

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Current Registered Nurse in the state of Texas or ability to obtain Texas Licensure
    • A minimum of five years’ leadership experience in healthcare with a strong preference for both administrator and clinical leadership responsibilities
    • De novo or acquisition experience preferred
    • Project management experience preferred
    • Multispecialty experience with ortho/spine experience preferred
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Ability to communicate initiative and accomplishments
    • Valid and good standing Driver’s License
    • Ability to travel if needed to support other markets
