    Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator is a core member of the Learning & Development team at SCA. This role is accountable for maintaining LMS learning content, reporting, roles and permissions to support the company and individual facilities’ goal of ongoing education needs to meet company, regulatory and accreditation standards. The LMS Administrator uses their learning management system skills and expertise for creating new processes, problem solving, innovation and implementation of projects and tasks, working with training and other departments as needed.


    • Maintain the LMS platform, through uploads and maintenance while providing reporting, and managing roles and permissions. SCA is currently on a Dell based platform and will be moving to Oracle in the future
    • Support management, curation, and organization of learning content on company’s Leadership Development portal.
    • Resolve technical support requests, in partnership with IT, from users.
    • Coordinate with IT for improvement efforts and on-going maintenance of the LMS
    • Generate reports on usage, progress and completions.
    • Train Facility Education Coordinators, CEOs and other teammates as requested in various capacities.
    • Effectively communicate and collaborate across departments while building strong relationships and fostering a cohesive team environment.
    • Partner with HR and other stakeholders to identify learning needs and opportunities.

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3-5 years’ work experience
    • Foundational knowledge of training systems and an understanding of systems integration.
    • High proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and other programs to support the daily operations and management of platform and users.
    • Ability to provide direction to others that is clear and concise.
    • Ability to communicate well via email and phone with teammates, physicians, and others.
    • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
    • Ability to effectively and accurately manage several projects at a time, prioritize and organize tasks, as well as meet deadlines.
    • Ability to recognize potential legal ramifications and seek out answers/resources, i.e. use of copy wright materials.
