    Accountabilities / Responsibilities

     Position Reports to:

    Vice President, Financial Accounting and Support Team


    Position Supervises:

    Senior Analyst, Business Operations

    As a member of the FAST leadership team, the Business Operations Supervisor will act as a strong change leader by documenting existing business processes, providing tools for success, establishing key perfomance indicators, identifying operational gaps and inefficiencies and streamlining value-based improvements through research, understanding of business processes and best practices in alignment with departmental goals.



    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and provide tools for continuing education and training for teammates within department.
    • Develop and maintain document management system for business processes, procedures, and best practices.
    • Structure, package, and communicate key performance indicators to drive decsion-making and allow for performance tracking.
    • Understand operations, services, applications, operational strategies, processes, and/or business priorities in order to build effective solutions.
    • Estimate and/or quantify potential benefits, costs, and resource requirements associated with recommended business process solutions.
    • Summarize and communicate proposed solutions with the appropriate audiences in a manner tailored to their understanding, level, or experience.
    • Responsible for the coordination and completion of special projects across various functional areas, as directed.
    • Effectively work across the organization to ensure all dependent teams are aligned with the project plans and schedules.
    • Identifies and effectively engages all stakeholders, provides visibility and transparency to special projects so that issue mitigation and decision making can be done in a timely manner.
    • Act autonomously and creatively in solving complex problems, and by applying seasoned knowledge, skills, and experience to quickly come up with creative value-add solutions.
    • Monitor effectiveness of implemented solutions and ensure controls are in place.
    • Plan, conduct, and monitor testing of critical processes and key reporting to ensure quality.
    • Support short- and long-term operational / strategic business activities and goals.
    • Document and communicate progress in departmental goals and objectives.


    Total education, vocational training and experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations, or related field.
    • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (healthcare experience is preferred).
    • Project management experience is preferred.

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with Vice President’s, Director of Operations, and Board Members.
      • Ability to work across functions in team environment, specifically Development, Operations, Consulting, Corporate Accounting and Leadership Team to meet corporate objectives.


    • Technical/Functional
      • Advanced level of proficiency in Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook software.
      • Advanced level of proficiency in Office 365 platforms and tools.
      • Ability to create and use data visualization tools (SmartView and/or Tableau).
      • Ability to draw insights from unstructured data and understand opportunities for improvement with little to no direction.

    • Other Skills
      • Superior organization, attention to detail and analytical skills with emphasis in managing multiple requests, workload prioritization.
      • Exceptional problem-solving and results-driven orientation.
      • Must demonstrate and maintain an extremely high regard for confidential and sensitive information.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills including a proven ability to successfully interact and foster open dialogue with internal stakeholders, third-party service providers, field operations, and leaders throughout the organization.
