    Facility Description:


    Busy ambulatory surgery center with six OR’s and two GI suites perfuming between 30 and 60 cases a day. Established in business since 1992. Physician supported facility bonus plan annually. Lunches available daily for all staff. Other events and perks provided spontaneously throughout the year.

    Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    Looking for Certified Nursing Assistants for PREOP and PACU in a busy ambulatory surgery center doing 30 to 60 cases a day. The CNA is responsible for assisting the nursing staff in providing safe, comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to the ambulatory surgical patient and family according to physician order, in compliance with the philosophy of the facility; standards of practice and regulations of governing agencies. 

    Full time and Per diem Positions Available  


    Key Responsibilities

    • Checks updated schedule each morning and prepares supplies and equipment
    • Assists nursing personnel with patient care
    • Provides nursing care according to policies and procedures
    • Communicates relevant information to nurse, physicians, managers and appropriate staff
    • Provides for patient safety by use of monitors, side rails, assistance in ambulating and use of call bell
    • Sets priorities to facilitate the flow of patients efficiently
    • Cleans equipment according to procedure
    • Reviews charts for completeness and signatures of physicians
    • Prepares and restocks area for following day
    • Checks inventory and notifies appropriate staff member to re-order
    • Clean and tidy area at end of day in preparation for next day
    • Strict adherence to hand washing policies and infection control practices
    • Enter daily logs into computer
    • Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor


    • Graduate of Certified Nursing Assistant Course
    • At least 1year prior related experience
    • BLS Certification
    • Excellent communication skills, proficient in English
    • Good organizational skills
    • Proficiency with computer data entry
    • Ability to work quickly and effectively while maintaining a calm atmosphere
    • Must be available early mornings
    • Must be available flexible hours
