    Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    The role of the Financial Operations Manager will be functioning as the lead financial officer for group of outpatient surgical facilities, partnering with the Regional VP and working directly with key stakeholders (facility administrators, health system partners, internal support services, etc). The successful candidate will proactively engage facility leadership to drive earnings growth through differentiated initiatives and process improvements.

     

    This role is a unique blend of financial accountabilities as well as strategic growth and development, the right individual needs to have a strong desire for success and the ability to work with the regional leadership team to drive business and growth across the region.

     

    Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

    • Function as thought partner for Regional VP in growing region
    • Provide insight to operations leaders on opportunities for growth and drive implementation
    • Own forecasting and budgeting for the region
    • Perform performance variance analyses
    • Partner with accounting team to ensure accuracy of monthly financial statements
    • Build financial packages for Board presentations
    • Create operational and M&A modeling; capital expenditure planning and financing
    • Review of all revenue, expenses, collections and volume with in the region
    • Lead projects to implement financial process changes
    • Coach facility leaders on financial matters and areas of improvement
    • Must be polished with excellent verbal communications
    • Imperative this person is the SME of financial operations

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a strong focus on business. MBA preferred but not required. Candidate must be highly analytical with strong critical thinking skills with the ability to drive business. Strong business acumen with at least 3 - 5+ years of relevant experience. Advanced skills with Excel and Power Point a must have.
