    Are you an experienced Ambulatory Surgery Center Business Office Manager who is committed to customer service? Vantage Surgery Center is a growing orthopedic and pain manage surgical center  located in Medford, NJ we have an exciting opportunity to use your skills and expertise in a fast paced surgery center business office.  As the Business Office Manager, you will oversee the revenue cycle focusing on staff productivity and key process indicators to ensure that all activities associated with the revenue cycle are performed in an accurate and timely manner.


    Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    Supervision for revenue cycle management functions including both front and back office processes.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to: optimization of registration; maximization of cash posting, billing, accounts receivable follow-up and month end close process; as well as high performance from employees; and completion of medical records. Coordinates and works closely with the operations management group in achieving center-wide goals and process improvements.

    Job Essentials:

    • Establishes and implements policies and procedures and monitors for compliance
    • Conducts period performance reviews for all revenue management cycle areas
    • Trains, develops and motivates staff as well as monitors workloads and personnel needs
    • Develops and implements a smooth, efficient and standardized approach to billing and ASC accounts receivable management
    • Acts as an liaison with revenue cycle and business partners
    • Maintains the patient accounting software system, including updating libraries, updates and new software implementations as necessary
    • Monitors accounts payable processes and cash disbursement activities
    • Oversees payroll procedures to ensure timely and accurate processing and payment
    • Ensures on a daily basis that patients and their relatives are dealt with in a professional and courteous manner by the business office personnel


    • Four year college degree
    • Three to five years management experience in healthcare accounts receivable management, including supervisory experience, required, preferably in an ASC setting.
    • Must demonstrate strong operational management, analytical, communication and leadership skills; serve as a role model for business services; utilize information system to maximize revenue and collections; and works to ensure timely and accurate payment and posting of vendors .
