    Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    We are currently seeking a highly talented and energetic teammate to join our team as the Training and Communications Specialist. The Training and Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting training and communications activities undertaken by the Supply Chain team at SCA in support of our surgical facilities and support services teammates. The Training and Communications Specialist will partner with our facilities and support staff to help define our implementation and communication strategy for our most important initiatives and participate in critical projects.


    This position is primarily responsible for supporting and providing overall guidance in the areas of:

    • Developing communication and training plans, including tools, strategies and communications development, to support our most important initiatives.
    • Developing and managing internal communications such as slide decks, memos, newsletters in support of Supply Chain initiatives
    • Creating and executing a variety of technology training offerings, and working with Supply Chain leadership team to identify and implement employee engagement strategies.
    • Supporting Supply Chain leadership in all levels of employee messaging and engagement specific to Supply Chain throughout SCA.


    Minimum Qualifications

    • 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, operations, business or equivalent experience
    • 1-5+ years of successful training, communications or change management experience
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
    • Must possess a thorough understanding of business communications and training best practice
    • Excellent editing and communication skills
    • Experience with technology collaboration products, preferable Office365 and SharePoint, a plus
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including with Executive audiences
    • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, collaboration, facilitation and negotiation skills
