    Facility Description: Located at the “crossroads” of the city. Close to downtown, bricktown, as well great access to all areas of the city.

     

    Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    Full Time RN in the Recovery Room (PACU) caring for the recovery needs of the post-surgical patient in a unique surgical hospital environment

     

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for following physician orders to maintain patient care in the recovery room..
    • Participate in own professional development by maintaining required competencies, identifying learning needs and seeking appropriate assistance or educational offerings.
    • Supports the development of other staff and formal learners.
    • Communicates the organization’s vision, mission and values.
    • Cultural Values Response- Recognizes, respects, and effectively deals with values and cultural beliefs of patients and their families.
    • Ensuring safe patient care is accomplished
    • Participating in compliance accreditation activities
    • Working as a team with facility and corporate resources to meet patient care and quality goals

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years nursing experience
    • Oklahoma State Board of Nursing Licensure
    • Experience in recovery room, ICU,or CCU
    • ACLS, BLS, (PALS preferred, but not required)
