    Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    The Analyst will ensure that managed care contracts include best practice contract language, appropriately mitigation of contract language risk, and confirm that contracts are maintained in a compliant fashion. 


    Key Responsibilities:


    • Provide Detailed Contract Reviews:  Teammate will collaborate with managed care peers to ensure payer contract terms meet best practice standards or to identify deficiencies and risks where they exist. 
    • Responsible for Contract Catalogue: The teammate will be responsible for following the standard signature process and cataloging payer contracts in the centralized contracting system, ensuring contracts are accurately stored, organized, and meet compliance standards.
    • Support M&A Diligence:  The teammate will partner with Revenue Cycle and Managed Care teams to procure and review payer contracts for acquisition targets.  The review will identify language risks and opportunities during the due diligence process as detailed in best practice language categorization.




    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
    • 1-3 years payer contracting/reimbursement experience
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills as it relates to a managed care contract portfolio
    • Knowledge of healthcare trends in a managed care environment
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Demonstrated ability to develop good relationships with co-workers
