    Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Vice President of Development, the Senior Development Analyst is responsible for leading pro forma financial models, internal approval presentations, and external pitch decks & presentations for SCA’s merger and acquisition activity in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The Senior Development Analyst will be an integral part of the development team and will have the opportunity to work closely with the Director of Development, Development Vice President, as well as health system executives.

     

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Owning the pro forma financial model for mergers and acquisitions from inception to deal close
    • Assisting in preparation and/or presentation of executive approval packages
    • Assisting in preparation and/or presentation of external pitch decks and presentations
    • Thinking critically about how a transaction supports the overall strategy of the market and the Company
    • Ensuring that communication to prospective customers is accurate, prompt, and timely
    • Fostering a culture of open communication, creativity, and teamwork
    • Working with Finance and Operational leaders to confirm key assumptions in the pro forma financial models

    Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree required
    • 5+ years of relevant work experience preferred
    • Qualified candidate will be highly analytical, a critical thinker, intellectually curious, with decision making skills
    • Exceptional skill with problem solving, financial analysis, and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
    • Ability to present complex concepts in a clear, concise manner
    • Very proficient skillset using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Working with Finance and Operational leaders to confirm key assumptions in the pro forma financial model
