Overview

Naperville Surgical Centre is seeking a CEO/Administrator to join our team in Naperville, IL.

 

Naperville Surgical Centre, a freestanding ambulatory surgery facility, is owned by Dupage Medical Group, Surgical Care Affiliates, Inc. and Advocate Network Services (an affiliate of Advocate Health Care). The center began providing outpatient surgical services on October 25, 1993.

Featured in the nearly 15,000 square foot facility are four, large, modern operating rooms with state-of-the-science equipment, fully private pre-operative and recovery rooms and separate pediatric recovery area, as well as a pediatric play room in the waiting area. Nearly 75 surgeons in the specialties of orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, otorhinolaryngology (ENT), ophthalmology, plastic surgery, pain management, podiatry, urology, and anesthesiology utilize the Centre. Anesthesia services are provided by the anesthesiologists affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership to a team of clinical and business professionals, focused on clinical quality outcomes, labor efficiencies, supply chain management, volume growth drivers and revenue cycle optimization
  • Lives and models SCA Values
  • Responsible for the Center’s P&L; managing financial controls and reporting
  • Responsible for all personnel management, which includes recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and retention of employees
  • Partners with field operations leadership (and Home Office resources as needed) for various growth initiatives and operational improvement opportunities
  • Safeguards the Center's assets and ensures that Center's building and/or tenant improvements and equipment are maintained in good working order and in compliance with local, state and federal regulations
  • In conjunction with the Medical Director, determines clinical goals and effectively manages resources to achieve the goals and manage the quality improvement process
  • Ensures efficient business office operations
  • Depending upon specific facility needs, may participate in the provision of direct patient care consistent with licensure, experience and current competence in the level of patient care provided
  • Responsible for all other functions as assigned by the Surgery Center Board of Directors and/or Regional Lead

Qualifications

  • ASC experience highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Prior experience demonstrating a high level ability to effectively manage and allocate organizational resources is required.
  • Operational management experience such as budgeting, financial management, clinical services management, credentialing, accreditation, risk abatement, computer and software, responsible materials management are keystones of the position.
