We are a multi-specailty facility performing outpatient cases for Cardiology, ENT, General, Gynecology, Hand, Ophthalmology,Orthopedic, Plastic/Reconstructive, Podiatry cases  The facility has 4 operating room and 2 procedure rooms. Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Responsible for managing, implementing, measuring, and directing all Supply Chain related activities within the O.R.

 

The Materials Coordinator is responsible for managing the receiving and stocking of all incoming supplies to the facility. Receiving will also be completed daily in the computer. This position will also do the implant tracking daily and assist. Help maintain and adjust as needed PAR levels. This will include billing, purchase orders, ordering and filing as needed. Required to complete a quarterly inventory and maintain monthly consignment of inventory. The position will work with Clinical Resource Manager (CRM) on all O.R. Supply Cost Management projects.  Responsible for reviewing the clinical and physician survey’s and required to develop an action plan (when required) for areas pertinent to areas managed by Supply Chain.  Will serve as OR point of contact for sales representatives.  As well as maintain effective communication with SPD, O.R. O.R. Director, OR Nurses, Surgeons, Revenue Integrity Nurse, and the Facility Management team.

 

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Customer Service
  • Type minimum of 40 wpm preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Excel required
  • Able to deal tactfully with public and other staff members
  • Must possess the ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be able to bend multiple times a day, pick up and move with 40-50 lbs. Work outside on the dock to bring in supplies as needed.
