Accountabilities / Responsibilities

The Sleep Center Clinical Director is responsible for all aspects of clinical care delivery in nine facilities. Assumes responsibility as Clinical Manager of OHSS Sleep Centers. The Sleep Center Clinical Director is also responsible for the Quality Improvement/Risk Management Program for the centers and Education Coordinator for the centers, as well.  Assumes some responsibility of the Administrator in his/her absence. As a Registered Nurse or Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner, the Skleep Center Clinical Director is also responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge. This position will support and travel to all sites within the Central Ohio area. 

  • The Sleep Center Clinical Director will be responsible for but not limited to  Assessing, planning, and evaluating the implementation of the patients care to achieve identified out comes
  • Demonstrates ability to direct and provide for patient care in emergency situations.
  • Assumes a leadership role in the provision of quality patient care and testing.
  • Responsible for direction, teaching and management growth of the Regional Technical Supervisors and Education Coordinator.
  • Responsible for ongoing accreditation programs in areas of quality improvement, risk management, infection control, facility and fire safety.
  • Participates in developing standardized clinical education programs as requested
  • Supervises the smooth functioning of the center.
  • Completes appropriate financial management responsibilities.



  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical management experience in a hospital, Sleep Center, or within Pulmonology or Neurology required

Preferred Requirements

  • Current registered nurse state license in OH, or licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP state of Ohio)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Course preferred (can be obtained within 60 days of employment)
  • Credentialed as a Sleep Technologist either RPSGT (Registered Sleep Technologist) or RST (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist)
