NW Spine & Pain is a small but busy spine surgery center with two operating rooms--one used for spine surgery with five different surgeons; and the other used for pain management procedures. The ideal candidate will be flexible as hours can vary from day to day, eager to learn, and willing to adapt to the needs of the facility. This position has no call, no regular weekends and no holidays. Typical day is done between 5-7pm.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

The Admissions Clerk is responsible for the coordination of an effective, efficient admission process for all patients by receiving referrals, gathering and verifying pertinent information, and completing necessary procedures to schedule and admit outpatients

  • Ability to work within the team
  • Possess knowledge of typing, word processing, spread sheet, and computer billing systems.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Clerical experience, preferably in a health care environment
  • Non-healthcare hospitality, hostess, customer service experience will be considered
  • Current BLS, preferred
